Description:

Advent 228.5mg Dry Syrup is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections affecting the ear, nose, throat, chest, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. It is particularly effective against bacteria resistant to other antibiotics and is also used to treat drug-resistant tuberculosis.

Dosage & Administration:

• Can be given with or without food, but giving it with food improves absorption and reduces stomach upset.
• The doctor may recommend two to three doses per day, depending on the severity of the infection, type of bacteria, and the child’s weight and age.
• If the child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the dose, allow them to calm down and repeat the dose. Do not double dose if the next scheduled dose is due.

• Abdominal pain
• Allergic reactions

These side effects usually subside on their own. However, if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor immediately.
