Amdepin 2.5 Tablet is a calcium channel blocker that helps lower blood pressure and reduce the heart’s workload. This not only treats hypertension (high blood pressure) but also helps prevent angina (chest pain), heart attacks, and strokes.

It may be taken alone or with other medicines, depending on your condition. Take it at the same time every day, with or without food, as directed by your doctor. Even if you feel well, do not stop taking it suddenly, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms and stopping the medicine may worsen your condition.

Common side effects include headache, swelling (edema), fatigue, nausea, abdominal pain, and drowsiness. If you notice lichenoid keratosis (a brown or reddish inflamed skin lesion on sun-exposed areas), inform your doctor.
