Description:

Amlovas-L Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) when a single medication is not effective. By helping to lower blood pressure, it reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke in the future.

You can take Amlovas-L Tablet at any time of the day, with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time daily. Even if you feel well, do not stop taking it without your doctor’s advice, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms but can still cause harm if left uncontrolled. Regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, and a balanced diet can further help manage your blood pressure.

Some possible side effects include ankle swelling, headache, cough, weakness, and tiredness. It may also cause dizziness, so avoid activities that require focus, like driving, until you understand how it affects you. This medicine can increase potassium levels, so limit potassium-rich foods and supplements. Your doctor may also recommend regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels while on this treatment.
