Description:

Amtas-M 25 Tablet PR contains two medicines that help control high blood pressure and heart rate. It is also used for treating heart-related chest pain (angina), abnormal heart rhythms, and chronic heart failure. By relaxing blood vessels and slowing the heart rate, it improves blood flow and reduces strain on the heart.

You can take Amtas-M 25 Tablet PR at any time of the day, with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time daily. Continue taking it as advised by your doctor, even if you feel well, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms. Stopping the medication suddenly may worsen your condition. Maintaining an active lifestyle, managing weight, and following a healthy diet will further support blood pressure control.

Common side effects include headache, ankle swelling, skin rash, slow heart rate, nausea, and depression. Dizziness may also occur, so avoid driving or activities requiring focus until you know how the medicine affects you. This medicine may raise potassium levels, so avoid potassium-rich foods or supplements. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, and electrolyte levels may be required.
