How It Works

This medicine stops bacteria from growing and prevents the infection from spreading.

Dosage & Administration

• Given once daily, preferably in the morning.
• For typhoid: Administer twice daily as prescribed.
• Can be given with or without food, but giving it with food is recommended to prevent stomach upset.
• If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose.
• Follow the exact dose, timing, and duration prescribed by the doctor.

When to Expect Results

Most children start feeling better within 2 days of regular dosing. However, complete the full course to avoid worsening or reinfection.
