Planep Tablet is a medicine known as a diuretic (water pill). It is mainly used in the treatment of heart failure and high blood pressure. It is also used to reduce swelling (edema) caused by some other conditions.

Planep Tablet can be taken with or without food, but you should take it, in the same way, each time to get the most benefit. Taking it with food can reduce some side effects and taking it early in the day can prevent you from having to get up at night to go to the toilet.
